KATHMANDU: A team led by Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi has conducted on-site inspection of Lumbini Cable Car project.
Along with the chief secretary, the team comprised Industry Secretary Toya Narayan Gyawali, Director General of Department of Industry Ram Chandra Tiwari and others inspected the site on Saturday and inquired about the construction progress.
Chief Secretary Bairagi inquired about the economic and social impact in the area after the cable car comes into operation.
He also expressed confidence that the project will further help in the development of Nepal's tourism sector and urged for early implementation of the project. Chandra Prasad Dhakal, chairman of Lumbini Cable Car Pvt Ltd, informed about the progress in project implementation and said that the cable car would be operational within one-and-a-half months.
