Nuwakot, February 20:

Krishna Bahadur Adhikari built Nabadurga Micro Hydro Project using the water of Hile KholaA local in Sangsing VDC-6 of Nuwakot from his own pocket. His project is now providing electricity to at least 63 households. Adhikari invested Rs 400,000 in the project.

He sold two housing plots and five ropanis of farmland to arrange money for the project. He also runs a mill. He complained that no authority extended help for his initiative that he undertook for the sake of the village.
