KATHMANDU: Maruti Cement — a relatively new face in the cement industry in Nepal and private sector industry with the best technology available — has been established with the best industrial set-up in Nepal.

Set up in 2007, Maruti is Nepal’s only private sector cement factory to possess its own clinker — raw material for the production of cement — and has evolved to become Nepal’s largest cement plant.

Maruti Cement follows international standards and technologies that are adopted worldwide. It has adopted the international standard ESP technology (Electrostatio Precipitator) that controls environment pollution.

Till date, Maruti Cement Industry is the only industry in Nepal that produces 53 Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) graded cement. And with the help of its ESP technology, it is also the only cement company in Nepal that is actually environment friendly.

Maruti Cement has ISO 9001 and 14001 Quality Standard Marks. After Udaypur Cement and Hetauda Cement, Maruti Cement stepped in to bring novel perspectives.
