KATHMANDU: Mega Bank will soon have its own building to house its provincial office in Butwal.

The foundation stone for the building was jointly laid by Bhoj Bahadur Shah, chairman and Anupama Khunjeli, chief executive officer of the bank. On the occasion, Shah informed that as per its five-year plan, Mega Bank has an aim to establish provincial offices in all seven provinces so as to expand financial services across the country and increase investment in the productive sector.

In the first quarter of the current fiscal, the bank was able to increase its deposits to Rs 66.11 billion and its loans stand at Rs 62.25 billion. It also earned a net profit of over Rs 400 million in the period.
