KATHMANDU: Mega Bank Ltd has completed 12 years of establishment and marking the occasion, provided Rs 500,000 to Samata Community Hospital located at Boudha as part of its CSR initiative.
The cheque was handed over by Mega Bank's Chairperson Bhoj Bahadur Shah to Samata Hospital's Chairperson Uttar Sanjel, as per a press statement.
Addressing an event celebrating the bank's anniversary Shah apprised the attendants of the many achievements of the bank since its establishment, including becoming a forerunner in numerous categories among its peers.
He also said that while the bank has already signed a merger agreement with Nepal Investment Bank, he assured Mega Bank's founding principles shall be retained in the new entity.
