KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 25

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) has called its 37th Annual General meeting on January 14, 2022 (Poush 30, 2078).

The location of the meeting has been decided as the bank's central office in Tindhara, Kathmandu. The meeting will convene at 9: 30 am on the said date.

The AGM is set to endorse a 38 per cent dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The meeting of the Board of Directors held on November 2 had decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 13.84 billion.

As much as 33.6 per cent bonus shares and 4.4 per cent cash dividend (including tax) had been proposed at the meeting.

In the same manner, the 'conclave' will also elect two board members from among the promoters.

Similarly, there is also an agenda to endorse the decision of raising the company's existing authorised capital to Rs. 19 billion.

December 31, 2021 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend the AGM.
