KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 25

Nokia has announced that WorldLink Communications, the largest broadband internet service provider in Nepal, has introduced Nokia Wi-Fi Beacon 1.1 mesh access point to offer a seamless home wi-fi experience of its highspeed Photon services for subscribers in the country.

The internet service offers an unprecedented 300 MBPs speed for an enhanced broadband experience for Worldlink's home and enterprise customers.

With Beacon 1.1, WorldLink's subscribers will be able to experience seamless internet connectivity inside their house to meet their work, study, and entertainment needs, as per a media release.

The number of connected devices on home wi-fi networks has increased as people increasingly operate from home for work, online-education, or access services online such as healthcare and retail.

Indoor wi-fi coverage can be impacted in remote parts of the home or dead zones.

The Beacon 1.1 uses Nokia's wi-fi mesh technology to overcome barriers such as internal walls to deliver seamless and reliable internet connectivity for every device and improve the in-home wi-fi experience.
