KATHMANDU: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana has been honored with the 'Prabal Janasewa Shri' medal.
President Ramchandra Paudel presented the medal to Dhungana in recognition for his contribution to the banking sector since a long time, as per a press release.
Dhungana, who has accumulated two-and-ahalf decades of experience in the banking sector, had served as the CEO of Nepal Bangladesh Bank for 10 years.
Before that, he was the general manager of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank.
Dhungana had left his post as a director of Nepal Rastra Bank to work in a private bank. He had done Chartered Accountancy in India and completed his Master's in Certified Public Accountant and Financial Analysis from Australia.
