KATHMANDU: Ncell, the first private mobile operator in Nepal, has been crowned Frost & Sullivan Nepal Mobile Service Provider of the Year 2016 for the second consecutive year.

The globally recognised award was conferred by international growth partnership company Frost & Sullivan, and is a subset of its prestigious Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards which honours best-in-class firms within a multitude of industries in Asia Pacific, including automotive, energy, building, healthcare and information communication technologies sectors in Asia Pacific.

Award recipients were evaluated against a set of stringent criteria, based on a variety of actual market performance indicators which include total subscribers, mobile service revenue, blended Average Revenue per User (ARPU) and ARPU growth and service or business model innovation.
