Nepal Telecom launches festive discount offers

KATHMANDU: Like previous years, this year too, the Nepal Telecom (NT) has launched discount offers during the festive season of Dashain, Tihar and Chhath for its customers.

NT, the only state-owned telecommunication service provider in the country, has come up with special offers on the occasion of festivals.

The company would provide discounts on data, voice calls, SMS, local phone (PSTN/CDMA C-Phone) and ADSL services, according to a statement issued by the company spokesperson Pratibha Baidya .

Under the scheme, from October 1 to 15 and from October 28 to November 6, the NT would provide discounts on 100 MB and 250 MB data packages.

The packages would also include free voice calls and SMS facilities.

Similarly, there would be night data offers of 500 MB and 1,200 MB in Rs 40 and Rs 85 respectively from October 1 to 19.

Likewise, in voice calls, the company has offered 10 per cent discount in every call within its own network whereas in SMS, it is only charging half of the previous price.

In local calls through PSTN and CDMA C-Phones, the telecom service provider would offer additional 100 calls free on its previous mark.
