NTB launches mobile app

Kathmandu, April 23

Nepal Tourism Board has relaunched its mobile app in a bid to enhance its digital presence and to adhere with the need of the present time and technology.

A new comprehensive digital mobile app, ‘Welcome Nepal’, was relaunched on Nepali New Year 2074 to provide the latest information on Nepal for domestic and international tourists, offering a wide range of content and useful information on travel, events and activities, according to a statement issued by NTB.

“The upgraded mobile app is only the first phase of our strategic plan and we will see many more innovative, useful technologies and features released in the near future. The upgraded app is a fully featured dynamic platform that allows the users to know about the destinations and the activities going on in a better way,” the statement quoted Deepak Raj Joshi, chief executive officer of NTB, as saying.

The new, user-friendly app, with its cool features and trendy looks, allows users to get updated information on major cities, small towns/villages, and tourism activities in general along with NTB’s effort to promote Nepal globally. The app is available for download on Android and will soon be available on iOS.
