Nepse gives real time information

Kathmandu, November 28:

Nepal Stock Exchange has started providing the real time information to the investors from today.

“An investor can check share prices online from anywhere live during the trading hour,” Rewat Bahadur Karki, general manager of the Nepse, said, adding that an investor now without time gap can check trading activities — like top-gainers, top-losers, imposition of circuit breaker and trading resumption of all the companies — at the Nepse floor on Nepse’s web page.

“The web site of the Nepse will be updated to the demand of the time and will be modernised,” he added.

Similarly, nine brokers are using Nepse’s extended facility, Wide area Network (WAN) and two more brokers have applied for the WAn facility.

“In a bid to add the number of brokers to make a total of 50 from existing 23 brokers, we have called for the application for 27 new brokers also,” Karki said, adding that the Nepse will, from the applicants, propose 34 brokers to the Security Board of Nepal (SEBON) and SEBON will give licence to the 27 brokers.

“The addition will benefit the small investors,” he added.
