KATHMANDU: Nepal's stock market witnesses the  transactions worth Rs 800 million today, the second day of the week.

A total of 896,041 units of share of 136 companies were sold and purchased in today's stock market, according to Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, the sole authorised agency for making share transactions in the country.

The NPESE index today surge on by 16.62 points compared to the previous day of 1,780 points.

Likewise, the sensitive index of the 'A' class companies witnessed a bullish move as it reached the 3.66 points.
