Syakar Company Ltd, the sole authorised distributor for Philips in Nepal, has launched a new range of mobile phone sets in Nepal. The price of the newly-launched 10 new mobile sets, ranges from Rs 2,990 to Rs 15,690, states a press release.

The new Xenium range of set boasts of the longest battery life in comparison to other mobile phones. “It is best suited for phone users, who use it a lot on a daily basis,” the release states.

Beside the long-battery life, it has features like FM radio, polyphonic ring-tones, camera, extendable memory using micro SD cards, Bluetooth, Bluetooth stereo transmission, Infra-red, SMS, MMS, WAP, MP3 and mpeg4 video recording functions.

The 598 model is especially designed for ladies and has a calorie counter, shopping list and pink diary, states release.
