Nepal Investment Bank Ltd (NIBL) has bagged the ‘Best Presented Accounts Award’ for 2006 presented by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) for its overall accounting presentation and disclosure.

NIBL was awarded for its clarity of accounts, presentation of vision, mission, overall strategic objectives, core value, directors report, use of accounting policies and disclosures in accordance with the national and international accounting standards, states a press release issued by the bank here today.

Governance and stakeholder information as well as regularity of AGM were also other reasons for ICAN to reach the decision to award the NIBL, under the baking category. The bank’s strategic focus is to build NIBL into a reputable and world-class service provider, known for its innovation, service excellence, and creating value for the shareholders.
