KATHMANDU: As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility initiative to support various sporting activities that promote participation of local and national communities, Nepal Investment Bank Ltd (NIBL) has extended financial assistance of Rs 1.8 million to the women’s basketball team of Nepal Police Sports Council.

This will help support the team’s overall management of sport facilities, logistics, equipment, among others, the bank said in a press statement.

NIBL will continue to support various sporting events that promote active and healthy lifestyle and enhance cohesive participation of women and youth in the community by inculcating values like discipline, teamwork and fair play, the statement adds. NIBL has been catering to its customers through 80 branches,115 ATMs,14 extension counters, 10 revenue collection counters and 51 branchless banking counters.
