KATHMANDU: Seven new branches of NIC Asia Bank in different locations have been formally inaugurated on Tuesday.

The bank’s 70th branch at Battar was inaugurated by Tara Bahadur Karki, chairman of Nuwakot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), 71st branch at Attaria was inaugurated by Basanta Rokaya, chairman of Attaria CCI, 72nd branch at Lekhnath was inaugurated by Laxmi Prasad Tripathi, chairman of Lekhnath CCI, 73rd branch at Baglung was inaugurated by Jayaram Bhari, chairman of Baglung CCI, 74th branch at Birauta was inaugurated by Bishow Shanker Palikhe, chairman of Pokhara CCI, 75th branch at Kawasoti was inaugurated by Ohm Prakash Paudel, chairman of Nawalpur CCI and 76th branch at Daldale was inaugurated by the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Laxman Risal, as per a statement.

NIC Asia Bank is one of the largest private sector commercial banks in the country in terms of capital base, balance-sheet size, customer base, number of branches and ATM network. With the addition of the new branches, the bank is providing services to its customers through 76 branches across the country and 69 ATM outlets.
