KATHMANDU: Sunil KC, vice-president of Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI), attended the 14th South Asia Conference hosted by Manohar Parikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis, government of India, on January 17 and 18, in New Delhi.
As a speaker at that conference representing Nepal, he delivered his remarks on the topic 'BBIN and Green Energy Trading: Opportunities and Challenges', wherein he emphasised the need for regional integration.
"The member countries face common challenges like the effects of climate change, pandemics, energy dependency, economic, crisis, etcetera," he has been quoted as saying in a media release.
"In that sense, no country can address these challenges without the support and cooperation from other countries. And, most importantly, many of these issues have cross-border implications."
