KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 8

NIMB Ace Capital Limited and NIBL Equity Partners have provided and committed more than Rs 5.6 million to support victims of the recent Bhotekoshi floods.

NIMB Ace Capital and NIBL Equity Partners have contributed Rs 2.1 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation of people affected by the floods in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun and Chitwan, among other districts.

The portfolio companies of NIBL Equity Partners have separately committed around Rs 3.5 million in cash towards the relief effort.

The companies said they would also support the long-term recovery and rebuilding of the affected districts through investment initiatives and future expansion of branch networks.

Such efforts, they said, would help expand capital market outreach and improve access to financial services for households in the affected areas.

NIMB Ace Capital and NIBL Equity Partners also expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the floods.
