KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Co (NLIC) has introduced a new life insurance policy titled ‘Nepal Life Sadabahar Jeevan Beema Yojana’.

As per a press statement, the special features of this insurance scheme is that five per cent of the insured amount will be refunded every year during the company’s anniversary.

The minimum insurance amount has been set at Rs 200,000, but an insurer can take out insurance of any amount above that depending on their source of income.

Anyone in the age bracket of 11 to 65 years can sign up for the policy. The maturity period for the policy has been set at minimum five years and maximum 20 years.
