NOC slashes petroleum prices
KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has slashed the prices of petroleum products. The revised rates would be effective from midnight.
According to NOC Spokesperson Birendra Goit, the corporation has reduced Rs 2 per litre in petrol and Rs 1 per litre in diesel and kerosene each, as per the new price index sent by the Indian Oil Corporation.
As per the new price list, petrol would cost Rs 109.50 per litre in Kathmandu.
Likewise, the price of diesel and kerosene have been fixed at Rs 97 per litre.
