KATHMANDU:

Orient Thai, one of the major Thai Airlines, has begun its operations in Nepal. In Thailand, it is in service since 2000 and flies to various Asian countries. On December 29, Orient Thai made its inaugural flight in its luxurious 170-seater MD82 aircraft. It is scheduled to takeoff from Kathmandu on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday.
