KATHMANDU: The Project for Agriculture Commercialisation and Trade (PACT) has organised a workshop to discuss roadmaps to be taken to monitor sub-projects under its operation, on Thursday.

In the programme, Technical Assistance Team Leader Birendra Bir Basnyat informed that 1,400 sub-projects operating under PACT’s assistance would be regularly monitored till June 30, 2018. He presented a roadmap for the same as well.

The workshop was chaired by Sub-project Monitoring Committee Chairman and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Agricultural Development Yogendra Kumar Karki.

Karki assured that necessary environment would be provided for PACT to work at ease.

Director of PACT, Govinda Prasad Sharma, expressed his commitment that transparency would be maintained in the monitoring and discussion stages.

World Bank Senior Rural Development Expert and Task Team Leader Patrick Verissimo, Focal Person Karishma Wasti and Field Coordinator of the Development Impact Evaluation Odbayar Batmunkh  among others were also present in the workshop.
