PayPod targets net ad space

PayPod Technologies, a US-based IT solutions provider with offshore development facilities in Chennai and Minsk, Belarus, has launched a technology-driven advertising service to tap the growing Indian market for ad space on the Internet.
Targeted at the advertising and publishing industry in India, PayPod’s Digital Advertising Network solution will help deliver ads on the Internet based on geography, context, content, gender and age group relevant to specific requirement and target audience. This will offer advertisers the ability to be more focused in ad campaigns, the company said.
“We believe that the transition into the digital world is at a quite nascent stage in India, but technology adoption in the advertising space is on the increase,” said PyPod COO Durga Das, announcing the launch of the service.
“Out of the Rs 300 billion Indian Currency (IC) spent on advertising every year, we believe only about one per cent goes to digital. Given this scenario, the Indian market offers a huge potential. And this is what PayPod is looking to tap into,” she added. PayPod will supplement the media offering with a comprehensive suite of technologies and services that deliver, track and optimise online advertising campaigns to maximise response.
