NOC revises fuel prices effective midnight Monday; aviation fuel, LPG unchanged
KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 16
Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has raised petrol prices by Rs 2 per litre while reducing diesel and kerosene prices by Rs 4 per litre, effective from midnight on Monday.
Following the revision, petrol prices now stand at Rs 160.50 per litre in Grade I regions, Rs 162 in Grade II, and Rs 163 in Grade III-marking an increase across all distribution zones.
In contrast, diesel and kerosene prices have been fixed at Rs 139.50 per litre in Grade I regions, Rs 141 in Grade II, and Rs 142 in Grade III, providing relief to consumers and industries dependent on these fuels.
The Corporation announced that prices of aviation fuel and cooking gas (LPG) remain unchanged, maintaining stability for air transport operations and household consumers.
