BIRGUNJ:

A police team from the regional police office, Birgunj seized various smuggled goods worth Rs 300,000. The seized items include 368.20 metres of suit cloths, 20 metres of pink silk cloths, 205 set of kurta salwar and 48 sets of saris, and 904 pieces of shawls. The goods were seized at Birgunj municipality and Nagawa road bypass. Likewise, the revenue petrol team of the armed police has seized the goods worth Rs 350,000.
