Professional banking course on offer
Kathmandu, July 25 :
Kathmandu Frontier Association (KFA), a banking and management training institute, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kathmandu Model College (KMC) to run a professional banking course for graduate level students.
This is the first time that a structured professional banking course for graduate level students has been launched in Nepal, states a press release issued by KFA today. As per the understanding, KFA will be undertaking programmes on professional banking course to the BBA level students at KMC.
The new course, consisting of altogether 90 sessions of one and half hour each, will be taught during three semesters of BBA programme between fifth and eighth semesters, adds the release.
According to KFA, the objective to initiate this course is to allow students to acquire thorough practical banking exposure while they undergo their graduation, so that once they complete their BBA degree, they will be ready to work in any financial institution.
With the launch of the course, KFA has also announced the commencement of its placement service targeting the financial sector, under which qualified and professionally trained students will be placed at various financial institutions in Nepal.
