Kathmandu, January 11:

Prudential Bittiya Sanstha Ltd (PBSL) registered Rs 2.13 million operating profit and Rs 1.53 million net profit during the fiscal year 2004-05, according to a statement distributed in the capital today at its second annual general meeting.

It has also registered a hike in its deposit by 66.91 per cent amounting to Rs 135 million during the review period. Its loan flow has also increased by 42.98 per cent to Rs 116 million in the current fiscal year from the fiscal year 2004-05. The company has also incurred a loss of Rs 0.66 million in the last fiscal year. It had deposited only Rs 1.87 million last year.

It has set a target to increase deposit to Rs 262 million and a loan to Rs 297 million by the end of current fiscal year.
