Kathmandu, April 9:

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has expressed its commitment for making the April 10 constituent assembly (CA) elections a grand success.

Issuing a letter of commitment, FNCCI president Kush Kumar Joshi has urged all the people, particularly the business community, to take part in the CA polls wholeheartedly.

“The CA elections on April 10 is not only a historic day, it is a kick start for the creation of Nepal’s golden future, establishment of lasting peace and a democratic New Nepal with socio-economic development,” states the release.

Joshi further says that the new constitution will incorporate views and aspirations of all

sectors and people. It will also draw a new course for economic revolution in the country with both short-and long-term economic development programmes. According to him, FNCCI will soon submit its detailed agenda to be incorporated in new constitution for economic policies and development.

Although April 10 (Chaitra 28) is being observed as the National Day for Industry and Commerce, FNCCI has urged its members and business community to celebrate the day with making the CA polls a grand success.
