Quick response teams mobilised
KATHMANDU: According to Energy Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has mobilised four quick response teams to take stock of the disruptions in energy supply due to floods and landslides across the country.
NEA has formed four teams coordinated by its board members to inspect the impact of the disaster. Teams have been deployed to the eastern region (led by Chetraj Joshi), the central region (led by Umesh Thani), the western region (led by Chandra Tandan).
Meanwhile, a team led by Bhakta Pun has been given responsibility to inspect the situation in mid-western and far- western regions.
