KATHMANDU: Ncell handed over cash prizes to the lucky winners of the eighth week under the ‘Recharge and Win’ offer on Thursday.

Recharge and Win is a 10-week-long campaign launched on September 2. Winners of the eighth week were selected through a live draw programme on Tuesday.

Ncell handed over cash prize of Rs 100,000 each to four lucky winners of the eighth week. Mahendra K Bhattachan, security and general services director of Ncell, handed over the cash prizes to the four winners — Tilak Kumal of Gulmi, Mahesh Prasad Bhatta of Kanchanpur, Diwash Lamichhane of Rautahat and Jitman Barali of Gorkha amid a function in the Capital.

Ncell has said that as two of the 10 winners selected for the eighth week failed to qualify for the awards as per the terms and conditions of the offer, two new winners will be selected next week following the same process. Ncell also handed over cash prize to Padma Kumari Poudel of Taplejung, one of the winners of the seventh week from its Ncell Centre in Birtamod, on Wednesday.

Similarly, earlier on October 25, Santosh Kumar Sah of Siraha, one of the lucky winners of the fifth week, received his cash prize from Ncell Centre in Lahan.
