Economic indicators show a gradual recovery, says Khanal

Finance Minister Rameshore Khanal has stated that government revenue collection has increased by 10 percent over the past three months, signaling a gradual recovery of the national economy.
Inaugurating the Gorkhapatra Discourse organized by Gorkhapatra Sansthan on Thursday, the Minister said recent data reflected improving economic momentum. He added that Chinese investors have praised the interim government for creating an investment-friendly environment in a short time.
The Finance Minister said the government is working in a planned manner to address liquidity constraints and further strengthen the investment climate.
Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Dr Bishwo Nath Poudel stressed the need for sustainable infrastructure development and urged the private sector to conduct business with confidence, expressing hope that upcoming elections would help ensure stability.
