INARUWA: The Sunsari DDC earned Rs 20 million in the current fiscal year by the sale of sand and gravel extracted from different rivers. It had contracted out the sale of sand, soil and gravel from the river to a contractor for Rs 22 million.It, however, collected Rs 19.8 million from the sale after deducting 10 per cent from the total amount as commission.
