DisplaySearch Reports, based in Austin, Texas, the US â€“ has placed Samsung as a market leader, in three out of four categories, among the television brands.
The report, which focused entirely on global TV market on strength in Europe,
Developing regions and at 1080p, has shown that Samsung is at number 1
in LCD TV brand revenue share and growth, TV brand unit share and growth
and TV brand revenue share and growth.
DisplaySearch is an NPD Group company that has a core team in Europe, North America and Asia. Samsung is a leading technology developer and leader in brand revenue share and growth among LCD TVs.
Similarly, ranked number one, its brand revenue share and growth for Q3 â€˜07 is 18.4 per cent.
Samsung is also at the top of TV brand unit share and growth chart â€” according to the DisplaySearch Report survey â€” with a rate of 13.8 per cent.
Samsung makes hat-trick in being â€˜ranked number oneâ€™ status with the TV brand revenue share and growth with 17.9 per cent.
In the Plasma TV brand revenue share and growth segment, however, Samsung is placed second with of 21.3 per cent.
