KATHMANDU: Sanima Bank has launched Video KYC (VKYC) service for its customers. Non-residents and foreign Nepalis can open online account and verify it through VKYC from different parts of the world.
Now, customers do not need to take the hassle of visiting the bank to create and verify their bank accounts, as per a press statement. Through VKYC, customers can virtually communicate with Sanima Bank's staff to fulfil all the mandatory criteria like identity verification, signature verification, and others.
Likewise, customers will need to schedule date and time for virtual interaction with the bank staff. Customers will be informed about the approval of the verification process through e-mail or phone calls.
Once VKYC verification process is approved, customers can deposit cash into their respective accounts and withdraw (debit) up to Rs 10 million per annum. Sanima Bank has 127 office and 120 ATMs all over Nepal.
