KATHMANDU: Sarbottam Cement, a product of Sarbottam Cement Pvt Ltd, which is a company under Saurabh Group, has launched its OPC and PSC cement in the market for the first time. Sarbottam Cement, which is an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company, has production capacity of 40,000 bags per day, as per a media release issued on Tuesday. Sarbottam Cement has up to 4500 Blaine fineness, made by European VRM machine imported fro•m Denmark for the first time in Nepal along with modern cross bar cooler and IMCC technology. The company claims that it consumes the least coal and electricity among all cement factories in Nepal, and has named its products ‘Green Cement’. Furthermore it is the first company in Nepal with its own thermal power plant, giving 24-hour power supply back-up.
