Sebon starts awareness campaign

Kathmandu, January 17:

Securities Board of Nepal (S-ebon) started investors awa-reness campaign from today.

Though Sebon has been awaring investors not to be influenced by noise-creators and has advised to go by the books of the companies that they are buying shares, investors have been in buying frenzy, lately. “Investors should not put their hard earned money on any company blindly,” said Dr Chiranjivi Nepal, chairman of the board, adding that the regulator of capital market doesnot want any investor to suffer due to ignorance.

“The investors need to be made aware as the capital market is showing abnormal behaviour at present. The volatility of the market can be checked only when the investors themselves are aware,” Nepal said.
