KATHMANDU: The 'Second Himalayan International Expo (HIE) 2023' is scheduled to take place in here from October 13 to 15.
Kapil Adhikari, the expo's coordinator, emphasised the aim of boosting the export of genuine Nepali products to enhance economic prosperity. The expo will feature a diverse range of local products. Additionally, services related to the tourism industry, such as hotels, trekking, travel, food, tours, and cultural activities, will be showcased.
The expo anticipates over 500 foreign buyers. Activities during the expo will include art exhibitions related to handicrafts, seminars on contemporary issues, and interaction programmes.
