Shrestha bags best entrepreneur award

Second ‘the boss Top 10 Business Excellence Award — a tribute to the spirit of entrepreneurship was held in the capital today, amid the august gathering of business giants, who is who of the society and a host of professionals, academicians, government officials, policy makers and foreign diplomats. Dr Bimal Koirala, chief secretary, handed over the awards. On the occasion, Pradeep Kumar Shrestha of Panchakanya Group and Gyani Shova Tuladhar of Namuna Silai won the awards in the category of the Best Entrepreneur and the Best Woman Entrepreneur respectively. Rajesh Kumar Shakya of Hitechvalley inet was awarded the Best Entrepreneur-IT award. Similarly Sharad Parajuli of Himalayan Health Care won the Best Social Entrepreneur award. Anuj Agrawal of Vishal Group bagged The Person to Watch award.
Dabur Nepal Pvt Ltd bagged the award for Best Manufacturing and Marketing Company category, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd was awarded the Best Commercial Bank whereas Development Credit Bank Ltd won the Best Financial Institution award. Likewise the top three CEOs for the year were Anil Shah of Nabil Bank Ltd, Indrajit Lahiri of Asian Paints Nepal Ltd and Pritivi B Pande of Nepal Investment Bank. The top three management students were Kshity Ratna Shrestha and Sandeep Jajodia from Kathmandu University School of Management and Anup Shrestha from Apex College. The FNCCI — NYEF Award was given to Srijana Thapa of Photo Concern Pvt Ltd and Dileep Agrawal of World Link Communication Pvt Ltd.
