KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Ltd has appointed Shambhu Nath Gautam as its chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from Thursday.

Gautam has a strong banking experience of 30 years and has been with Siddhartha Bank for last 15 years and had been serving as deputy CEO for last four years, as per a press statement.

Remaining in various capacities he has played a significant role in the growth of the bank. Siddhartha Bank also formally inaugurated its branch at Kamalbinayak, Bhaktapur on Thursday.

The branch was jointly inaugurated by Gautam and Krishna Prasad Awal, president of Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

With the opening of Kamalbinayak branch, the bank’s network throughout the country has reached 72 branches, two extension counters with 98 ATMs, 70 branchless banking locations and more than 450 POS machines.
