KATHMANDU, JANUARY 28
The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI), in collaboration with the European Union, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), is scheduled to organize the Sri Lanka Investment Forum 2026 on March 30, 2026, in Colombo.
The forum aims to position Sri Lanka as a competitive and attractive investment destination by bringing together international and domestic investors, development partners and key stakeholders on a high-level platform for engagement and collaboration. Organizers said the event will showcase investment-ready opportunities, priority sectors and policy incentives while promoting strategic partnerships and sustainable, inclusive economic growth.
The forum is expected to draw senior corporate and business leaders, business associations and chambers of commerce, the international and domestic investor community, economic policymakers, thought leaders, and representatives from national leadership and line ministries.
Discussions will focus on key sector themes, including services such as logistics, education and information technology; sustainable manufacturing; tourism, with emphasis on marinas, theme parks and nautical tourism; and infrastructure and utilities, including IT parks, industrial zones, energy and mixed-use developments.
The programme will feature interactive engagements such as fireside chats with investors and policymakers, curated networking sessions, and deal-matching and B2B connect meetings.
A High-Level Investor–Sri Lanka Dialogue, hosted by the EU Delegation and BOI, will also be held alongside the forum. The dialogue will bring together European investors, chambers of commerce and senior Sri Lankan officials to discuss investment opportunities, policy incentives and partnerships supporting sustainable and inclusive growth in the country.
