Standard Chartered aids flood-hit
Kathmandu, September 24:
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited has donated Rs 500,001 for flood victims.
Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Sujit Mundul, handed the cheque on behalf of the bank to Finance Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai here yesterday, according to press statement issued here on Wednesday.
Earlier, the bank had also partnered a social initiative Sahayogi Haathharu launched by Annapurna Post (AP) and also extended financial support to the tune of Rs 200,000 for the welfare of Koshi River flood victims.
