KATHMANDU, AUGUST 20

Sipradi Trading, the authorised distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, is launching the fourth edition of the Tata Carnival from Thursday, offering customers the option to exchange their old vehicles for the new Punch EV and Tiago EV.

The four-day campaign will run from August 20 to 23. Customers can use their old vehicles as down payment towards the purchase of new Tata vehicles, the company said.

Customers booking Tata vehicles during the campaign will receive benefits including exchange valuation, lifetime free DC fast charging, one-year road tax exemption, free accessories and free home-charging installation.

The new Punch EV and Tiago EV were launched during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026. The Punch EV is priced from Rs 3.399 million, while the Tiago EV starts at Rs 2.899 million.

The Punch EV, based on Tata's Acti.ev platform, is available with 32 kWh and 40 kWh battery options. The company claims a range of 300 to 325 kilometres on a full charge based on tests conducted on Nepali roads.

The model comes with 195mm ground clearance, a five-star BNCAP safety rating, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, 1.5C DC fast charging, voice-activated sunroof, 26.03cm Harman infotainment and digital cockpit, ventilated seats and 366-litre boot space.

The new Tiago EV features refreshed styling, new colour options, a 360-degree HD camera, 26.03cm infotainment system and six airbags, among other safety features.
