Kathmandu, January 24:

Officials of 15 different chambers of commerce and industries from far-western Development Region visited Bhaktapur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) recently. The purpose of the visit as stated by a press release issued here today is to gather information on current activities of BCCI and to learn methodologies of its secretariat operation.

Addressing a gathering of the visitors, Yubak Raj Bhandari, president of BCCI said that officials should be serious towards their duty and be responsible towards the organisation. Sitaram Adhikari, director at the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and also the team leader of the delegation urged all visitors to implement what they have learnt from the visit to their work once they return to their respective chamber of commerce offices.

Uttam Jha, senior executive officer, BCCI, informed the visiting team about various development projects that BCCI is executing.
