Training for SMEs kicks off

Kathmandu, July 9:

A three-day long training programme on ‘Capacity Development for Intermediary Business Organisation and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)’ kicked off today in Kathmandu.

A total of 30 participants from district chambers and commodity associations are participating in the training that is organised jointly by Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC), Asia Invest programme under European Commission, Nepal Europe Pakistan Alliance in IT Sector (NEP-AL IT) and CSL Milan.

Inaugurating the programme, Surendra Bir Malakar, president of NCC said training would help link SMEs and enable them face challenges of globalisation. “This training will also help support ‘one village one product’ programme as it will provide platform for SMEs to come together and share their experiences.”
