Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Dr Bishwanath Paudel has said the upcoming monetary policy will focus on reforming the country's economic sector.
Speaking at a stakeholder interaction organized by the NRB Dhangadhi Branch on Monday, Governor Paudel stated that the policy will be based on public concerns and aimed at addressing issues hampering the national economy.
He acknowledged that various incidents have negatively impacted the economy and assured that necessary corrective measures would be incorporated in the policy. "Monetary policy will address the concerns raised by stakeholders," he said.
Highlighting the need for better coordination between financial institutions and the business community, Paudel stressed the importance of strengthening such ties to energize the national economy.
