US business expo kicks off in Capital

Kathmandu, March 10

A three-day long exposition showcasing products and services of the United States kicked off here today.

The expo aims to enhance trade and investment relations between Nepal and the US. Altogether 24 pavilions from US companies, Indo-US and Nepal-US venture companies have been showcasing their products and services in the expo.

The business expo was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachhadar.

The expo is being participated by a large number of US-based companies, including those specialising in engineering, information technology, insurance, travel and tour, agriculture and construction, among others. It has been organised by event management company House of Rajkarnicar and supported by US Embassy in Kathmandu.
