UTL slashes charge
KATHMANDU: United Telecom Ltd (UTL) reduced its international call charge to India and some other countries by fifty per cent effective from Wednesday, states a press release. As per the new tariff, one can dial to India, the US, Canada, Malaysia and Hong Kong round the clock for just eight rupees per minute.
However, call charge to other countries and SAARC countries, except India, has been fixed at Rs 15 per minute, it states.
UTL has also expanded its service to Biratnagar, Dharan and Itahari of Eastern Nepal from Wednesday.
