Kathmandu:

United Telecom Ltd (UTL) — after having tested it for a month — is launching its pre-paid services from January 20. The service is being offered in all the cities including Kathmandu Valley, Banepa, Hetauda, Birgunj, Butwal, Bhairahawa, Bharatpur, Narayanghat and Pokhara, where there is UTL facility. It also offers an FM mobile handset for Rs 2,310, including a talktime of Rs 500 that valid for nine months.
