Kathmandu, October 5:

The Far-western Development Region’s Industrial Fair, in conjunction with the Kanchanpur Tourism Festival 2065, will be held from October 17 to 23.

The fair is being organised by the Confederation of Kanchanpur Industries and Commerce (CKIC) and Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) in association with the District Development Committee (DDC), Mahendranagar muncipality, the government and the Ministry for Industries and Commerce (MOIC), Trade and Export Promotion Centre (TEPC) and Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

“The fair is being orhganised with the aim of to identifying and also promoting the distributors and sellers through direct interaction, technology exchange and advertisements,” according to a press statement issued here today. It added that the organisers are hopeful of getting a transaction of Rs 3 crore.

During the seven-day festival, there will be more than 150 stalls along with discount bonanzas

on various items in the fair, said the release.
